My Approach
Within my therapeutic practice, I integrate several evidence-based approaches to facilitate comprehensive healing. The Wellness Model of Counseling informs my work, elucidating strengths, personal agency, and the pivotal role of daily decision-making.
Complementing this, Solution Focused Therapy directs our focus towards pragmatic solutions and latent reservoirs of resilience. Meanwhile, the nuanced framework of Cognitive Behavior Therapy enables targeted intervention across a spectrum of concerns such as depression, anxiety disorders, addictive behaviors, eating disorders, and post-traumatic stress.
Additionally, I employ the strategic technique of Motivational Interviewing to cultivate and amplify client empowerment throughout their transformative journey.

About me
I bring with me a wealth of life experiences as a 52-year-old, married individual with three children and a delightful newborn granddaughter. My academic pursuits culminated in an MS in Licensed Professional Counseling and subsequent licensure as an LMHC in FL, complemented by MCAP and ICADC certifications.
Notably, my academic tapestry also includes a Bachelors in Addiction Counseling and an Associates Degree in Business Management.
